Megan Maidment

My research interests are primarily in the area of health and wellbeing, and include:

• psychological wellbeing of children and young people living with an acute or chronic health condition and their families 
• persistent physical symptoms in children and young people
• working with emotional trauma within medical settings
• staff wellbeing in medical settings (including experiences of vicarious trauma and moral injury)
• health inequalities in paediatrics

I am currently supervising DClinPsy research in the area of professional issues in clinical psychology:
