Overview
Dr Olly Bartlett is a Lecturer in Remote Sensing and Geography with expertise in remote sensing, geographic information systems, and fieldwork in Earth's cold regions. Olly completed a PhD in Physical Geography at the University of Exeter in 2020 which developed novel methods for better quantifying ice-sheet and ice-cap bed topography. His ongoing research interests include combining planetary scale remote sensing analysis and machine learning to monitor the cryosphere, UAV based remote sensing of polar environments, and field-based glaciology.
