Overview
Chris is a Lecturer in Sports Development at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
Chris completed a PhD at the University of Kent investigating the sport participation legacy of the London 2012 Paralympic Games for disabled people in England. His research interests are in sports participation, sport mega-event legacies, and disability sport.
Prior to entering academia, Chris worked and volunteered with a variety of national governing bodies of sport, and has worked in different administrative functions within academia.
Chris's research interests include disability sport, Paralympic Games legacy, and disabled sports fan experience.
Chris is currently a member of the Fans for Diversity Guidance Group, a campaign programme run in partnership between the Football Supporters’ Association and Kick It Out.
