Zoi Vardavaki

Zoi is a Senior Midwifery Lecturer and Tutor in various modules across the 3-year midwifery programme such as 4HSK0038 "Woman's Journey to Motherhood 1", 4HSK0044 "Infant feeding and Relationship Building", 4HSK0036 "the Arts & Skills of Midwifery", 5NMH 1064 "Health Promotion & Parenting" and 6MNH1122 "investigating Normal Childbirth". She is also a course lead for 4HSK0036 "The Arts & Skills in Midwifery" for September 2019 cohort.

Zoi has been in this post for over a year. She has completed her studies and received her PgCert in teaching in Higher Education and her MSc was in Midwifery. Since 2014, Zoi has been actively practising in the midwifery field within the National Health System (NHS) as a midwife in various settings including hospital, birth centre, and research settings.

Zoi's interests include women's health research, women's health, normality in childbirth, evidenced-based practice, quality improvement, VBAC, women's birth choices, and women's birth satisfaction.
