Sheku Kakay

Dr. Sheku Kakay is a senior lecturer in Strategic Management at the University of Hertfordshire. Dr. Kakay’s Ph.D. primarily focused on culture and consumer/organisational behaviour, which reflects his area of research interest. Dr. Kakay is an experienced researcher, academic, management training consultant, planner and policy analyst with a profundity of knowledge in the Public and Private Sectors. Dr. Kakay works in concert with other lecturers at the University of Hertfordshire in delivering modules in the areas of Strategic Management; Contemporary Issues in Business and Management; Global Perspectives in Business; and Industry Practice in Business and Management. Dr. Kakay is currently supervising the dissertations of one Undergraduate and three Postgraduate students in the areas of cultural attributes influencing women’s participation in netball; competitive conditions affecting start-up organisations in the music education industry; sustainable growth potential of start-up companies in the bakery food service sector; and the impact of organisational culture on the use of the ERP system.
