Overview
Daniele Rossi is a Senior Lecturer in Electronics and Communication at the University of Hertfordshire since August 2017 and Visiting Academic at the University of Southampton. He received the MSc degree in Electronic Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2001 and 2005, respectively.
From August 2016 to August 2017, he was a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Engineering at the University of Westminster, London. From September 2014 to August 2016, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Electronics and Computer Science of the University of Southampton (UK), working on an EPSRC funded project on reliable and energy efficient digital design (PI: Professor Bashir Al-Hashimi). Until August 2014, he was with the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering and with Advanced Research Center for Electronic Systems at the University of Bologna, Italy.
His research interests include design for reliability and energy efficiency for digital circuits and systems, design for test, fault modelling and fault tolerant design, security. He has co-authored more than 90 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings, and holds one patent. He serves as TPC member of several international conferences in the field of electronic design and test. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
