Research interests
Mohamed Elforjani is Senior Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, UK since November 2016, where he teaches Mechanical Vibration, Dynamics and Condition Monitoring Techniques. He was granted his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Tripoli University. In 2003, he has completed his MSc in Process System Engineering at Cranfield University, UK. Dr. Elforjani received his PhD in Condition Monitoring of Rotating Machines from Cranfield University, UK in 2010. After his graduation he spent couple of years as a researcher in the field of Condition Monitoring of Machines at Cranfield University. He also worked for Tabuk University, Saudi Arabia as assistant professor for two years. Late in 2015, he was appointed as associate professor by Sahara Libya Company (SLC) to lead its Academic Department. He was also associate professor at the High Technical Institute. Since 2006, Dr. Elforjani has been undertaking a research work and projects in the area of diagnosis and prognosis of machine failure using different condition monitoring techniques.
