Overview
I have received my PhD from the Institute for Astrophysics at the University of Edinburgh in 2015, where I worked on dusty, star-forming galaxies detected mainly by James Clerk Maxwell Telescope SCUBA-2 camera. After Edinburgh I have come to work as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the university of Hertfordshire. This position has been granted by the UK's Science and Technology Facility Council (grant number ST/M0001008/1).
Research interests
My main area of research is the galaxy formation and evolution. In particular I am interested in the fraction of the star formation in the high-redshift Universe, which is reprocessed by the dust and reemitted in the far-IR/(sub)mm. In addition I am also interested in the spectral energy distribution (SED) fitting to UV/optical and IR/mm photometry with the inclusion of the mid-IR AGN emission.
Teaching specialisms
I have been teaching a number of cources from the Introductory Mathematics to specialised Astrophysics cources, both privately and at the University.
